However, more recent research has demonstrated existence of chemical systems which, while not being alive, are self-reproducing. Darwinian principles will guide the behavior of such systems as well. So curiously, it seems that evolution in fact predates life and life evolved from simpler chemical systems.
 
I stated this in another thread… I’ll state it again.

I believe that evolution happens/happened because God wants/wanted it to.

It’s not that hard to put two and two together.
