and he/she will have all of their mother’s mitochondrial DNA (since that is cloned) within every cell of their body except red blood cells.

For example I have gone through the Wikipedia article you sent me about genetic evolution. I just find it frustrating the most fundamental data I’m after is very difficult to find/decipher. The mammalian middle ear, with its significant hearing function, is such a complex structure and a key evolutionary innovation. Newly discovered fossils have now shown that the detachment of the ear from the jaw, an important transformation of the middle ear in early mammals, has major homoplasies; the morphogenesis of these homoplasies is also illuminated by new genetic studies of ear development in extant mammals. By extrapolating the developmental morphogenesis of genetic studies into the early mammal fossil record, evolution of the middle ear in early mammals provides an integrated case study of how development has impacted, mechanistically, the transformation of a major structural complex in evolution.

If it took fundamentalist to open the eyes of Catholics about this matter, then I applaud them.I learned about the flaws of Darwinism from EWTN 20 years ago.

That would be close the truth if matter and its arrangements are information that exists regardless of the matter of which that coming from my parents no longer exists within my body, replaced by that which I ingested, digested and incorporated into myself. Once matter is understood to be information, the next step is to understand what it is that it informs and from where that information is derived.

Yes, two people as real as you and I, derived from one original person, who committed the original sin of appropriating what belongs to God and making himself the centre of his relationship with the world, thereby causing harm to the connection with God. Wanting to be gods, we suffer the ignorance of seeing our own “truths” rather than the Truth, towards whom we now move in time, becoming the Truth, becoming Love as we love, truly becoming one with God through and in God; or not.

Is it possible they are pre-hominid ancestors, or is it strictly held that they are the archetypal humans?
