Know you Americans’ passion for odd first names, maybe it’s his name?

In the screenshot that you showed, Nick Donnelly said nothing contrary to the faith. I even find that he is very right.

Nick Donnelly however is not qualified, in any way, to pass such a judgement. His adulation of certain immoral world leaders, and his disobedience to his own, former, Ordinary say more about him and his own lack of judgement.

It is nonsense to suggest that the use of certain titles speak of the judgement of a Pope. It is not the titles used that give The Pope authority. However, to demand the use of a title and, even though unqualified, pass judgement on a Pope says it is the person calling The Pope into question who is wrong.

The current Pope has made no claim to proclaim new truths, ex cathedra. Pope Nick does so daily although uniquely unqualified in every respect.

His own hero, and candidate for sainthood, Donald T now favours masks, and recognises there is a pandemic. And somehow a thrice married man, serial adulterer, self confessed sexual abuser, who idolises dictators, who has led companies to bankruptcy many times over, offers the world morality, a strategic plan, economic certainty, and a safe journey to The Promised Land. Whereas the Succsssor to St Peter knows less than “the leading catholic” old Nick

Now your judgment is what matters, not Nick Donnelly’s.

Ironic.

Name the new truths, non-Theologian. State your sources. Your opinion is irrelevant. State your sources, period, end of story. Cite, cite, cite.

You don’t even know the form an Ex Cathedra statement.

Give…the…formula.

Nick Donnelly has made no claim to infallible authority. But you have inferred it for yourself asserting your statements as authoritative. Cite, cite, cite.

No citations, no authority.

I am sure that @Semperfidelis20 was just exaggerating for rhetorical effect. I don’t think anyone seriously thinks that Nick Donnelly claims to exercise infallibility.

What I would say is that Donnelly’s supporters seem to be very angry people and not very pleasant.
