If it is, what about in cases where the music would be used for worship, such as Gregorian chant or an artist like Neal Morse?

If you haven’t paid for it, and if it isn’t being given freely by a source that has the RIGHTS to give away the music, yes it’s always wrong.

I would say that it is absolutely wrong to download, unless it is being given away free it is still stealing.

I thought it was copyright infringement rather than theft? In either case its wrong.

I just deleted almost all of my music.

I was so infatuated with it that right now, I honestly want to puke. I guess it’s for the better, because I just realized that I almost idolized it. :ouch:

I had around 2300 songs, and I deleted all the ones I did not buy about 2 months ago. It actually helped me, I was pretty addicted to music, but I did it because I love God and I realized it was wrong, I still find music on my computer that I didn’t buy from time to time and when I do find it I delete it.

I now only have 700 legitimate songs

I’ve done the same thing.

it’s tough but beats having to pay for it after we leave it behind – if you know what I mean 🙂
