The former drummer, Mike Portnoy plays a lot with Neal Morse, a Christian artist. But I was dismayed when during the Octovarian Dream Theater tour, they showed a graphic of all the band members in a pentagram.

Worse yet, it is a nonexistent organization which is mocking Christian beliefs such as the immortal soul. If I were you, I would unsubscribe from this channel and not have anything to do with them, unless you enjoy being mocked for what you believe.
As for Dream Theater, the questions you should ask yourself about any kind of music or other entertainment are these: Does it lead to increase my personal holiness? Does it give greater glory to God? If the answer to both of these questions is “no” (they are related) then you should consider it a bad habit and work to rid yourself of unwanted influences. These two questions comprise the only things worth doing in this life, because we are preparing for the next in eternity.
Personally, I do not know Dream Theater. They may give glory to God in some of their lyrics or concerts. That is for their fans to determine.

To the OP’s question: No. Dream Theater are not satanic. John Petrucci , their guitarist is Catholic. John Myung, their bassist is Evangelical. Jordan Rudess, their keyboardist is Jewish.

Dream Theater?! There are many metal bands where I can at least understand why someone might think they were satanic. Dream Theater is not one of them. I’ve been listening to them for over 20 years and I’d be hard pressed to think of anything specifically anti-Christian about any of their lyrics.
It is one of the true wonders of the internet when obvious satire can so easily be mistaken for something real.
