You can find food that is not harmful to your body still being produced in the world. Most of it is organic. We know that Genetically Modified food causes illness in the body. Therefore, it would be best to avoid it if you can. You can buy organic, grassfed beef and check out the producers and sellers of it to ensure that they treat their animals properly. I can’t image God being okay with us eating animals that have been mistreated in such ways as abuse, electric shock, swimming in their own feces, its sick and disgusting. But there are ways around it by doing your research before putting something into your mouth, that is your responsibility. While what goes into our mouths doesn’t make us unclean, I do believe that we have a choice to treat our bodies in the best manner that we can. It might mean having to give up that Ipod, ice cream, chocolate or whatever needs to be done order to keep your body sound which in turn keeps your mind sound. It’s your body do with it as you please, but remember that God dwells within you so why wouldn’t you want to give God the best?
