Is "Evangelization" functionally the same as "Sales?"

Wow. That was well said. It reminds me of the ‘Church shopping’ I sometimes hear about. Jesus is a real person who is alive at this moment, ready to be part of our lives, but how do people receive faith? “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:17 NIV

People are already looking for something to satisfy them. We all have needs. People try to satisfy themselves in various ways. Sometimes looking for love in all the wrong places. Whereas Jesus is what we truly need. God’s love is what we truly need and what we were created for. And Jesus gives us that access to the Father.

Most of us come into this relationship with God looking for what’s in it for us. That is human nature. That’s how we all start off. It’s only by transforming grace over time that we become more loving ourselves.
