I mentioned a sin to my priest about when I hurt my hand and took a medicine not prescribed to me.
The priest was in the confessional when I arrived to the church. I confessed the sin and explained the situation to him. After confession when he greeted me he said he would shake my hand but it might still be hurting.
He had no way of knowing I injured my hand besides what I told him in confession. There was no visible injury.
Does this constitute breaking the seal of the confessional even though he did not mention an actual sin?
