Is evil real?

Sexual attraction can cause a man to look at a woman with desire but that in itself isn’t evil because it is a** natural **reaction. Lust comes into the picture when he begins to dwell on the possibilities **voluntarily and derive pleasure from his fantasies - in stark contrast to our friend who has been tormented **for two days and has had little sleep during that time. The last thing he wants is to commit adultery! In fact he is displaying heroic virtue by his efforts to resist temptation… :clapping:

Question: so is the person who has a lustful thought, and then ignores it straight away, and says a prayer better than the person who has a lustful thought, and dwells on it for one hour, before banishing the thought?

How would you demonstrate that evil is a fact to be reckoned with?

Evil is the most easily demonstrable fact in the world. How many wars can you name? How bad is the dope problem, the homosexul problem, the theft problem etc etc etc.

Indeed! And people tend to overlook the fact of goodness because we take it for granted until something goes wrong…
