I already used the search engines.

The question is prompted by this news item which I noticed posted on a facebook page:

examiner.com/atheism-in-los-angeles/sarah-palin-says-the-constitution-is-based-on-the-bible
Sarah Palin says the Constitution is based on the Bible
The idea of repeating those arguments to Sarah Palin and her ilk; people who, figuratively speaking, have demonstrated time and again that they have their hands over their ears and are yelling “la, la, la!” in order to avoid listening to them, would be insane. I don’t repeat them for those folks. I do it for others, Christians and non-Christians alike, whose minds aren’t closed, who might find the misrepresentions and outright lies convincing if there were no voices raised to correct them. That’s not insanity. That’s a patriotic duty.
There is a video at the web site.

I have read other articles that explain how human freedom (or one could use the term “liberty”) is a Christian concept.

Can anyone help me out on this?

If Freedom is conferred by God, it is an inalienable right; if by Man, it is a right which can be redefined and taken away (which is why it is very important to discuss this).

Thanks in advance for replies!

PS Thanks to all veterans, living and deceased, who fight to keep our country free!

Ido not rember the name of the man who wrote it, but the is an interesting book on that topic called; THE GIFT OF THE JEWS.
His position is that the concepts of Freedom expressed by the founding Fathers started in the Jewish faith.
