Is gluttony a mortal sin?

Thank you for taking my question. I was wondering if overeating is a mortal sin (is it grave matter?) In my case, I ate too fast, which resulted in eating too much. I received an indication by my body that I was full, but my craving remained. I ended up vomiting about thirty minutes later (about five minutes after I drank a large soda).
