Is God bound by logic?

Can God Make something so peanut buttery that you can’t see it? Did that question make any sense? Neither does asking whether God can make something so large/heavy that he can’t lift it. “Size matters not.”- Yoda. Do you think god is weaker than the force? The only way he could make something he couldn’t lift is to make something he chose from eternity not to lift. The only thing restricting God is his own will.
The point I was making is - it is ridiculous to say I am capable of something that God is not.

I countered that by pointing out that you aren’t. God can make something you can’t lift. You may think I’m playing with words but this is an important distinction.

“I aren’t” what?

I am saying anything that I am capable of God is certainly capable of.

Agreed. Which is why God can make something you can’t lift. Do you see why that is the correct conclusion? God making something he “can’t” lift ≠ you making something you can’t lift. That you can make something you can’t lift = God can make something you can’t lift.

Sigh - “Can I Go to the Bathroom?, I don’t know can you?”

The ability I am speaking about is self referential not the ability of another. God’s ability to effect God’s actions, as I am able to effect my own.

But he can. He chose at a very fundamental level not to, but it is within his authority to be illogical. He hasn’t been and won’t be, but he could have been. BTW Catholic Tiger, how did the Abbey Youth Fest go?
