Is God chastising the world?

Life is a gift. It’s the path to God, the way we go from nothingness to everything.

OTOH, I presume the gift you are appreciating doesn’t involve starvation, homelessness, torture or chronic extreme pain.
Life is a gift.

Unfortunately, the universe doesn’t care a lick about us, so we are forced to live this life mired in the human condition.

Yes life is a gift, yes life is very, very hard.

I try and remain positive.

Instead of dwelling on the most horrific of events, why not instead take a moment and enjoy the wonder of life that surrounds us?

Cynicism is contagious by the way.

There is no Kingdom of Hell. Satan is no King of anything.

I don’t even like typing that phrase.

Hell is the lack of God- there is nothing positive- in the philosophical sense of it. It is a lack of.
I never said it was positive. Satan is the prince of this world…IDK about Hell though. I don’t think there is anything scriptural about him running Hell but I could be wrong. I think it just talked about how Satan is damned.

Hell is a mind frame - a place where you have nothing but regret. I am pretty certain that is how the Church teaches it. You are right - it is cut off from God. But for anything to exist, a small piece of God must be left. Otherwise you have non-existence. God is the I AM. To say there is not a small fragment of God in Hell would be to say Hell does not exist.

A belief in ‘mother earth’ predates Christianity by close to 10000 years. There is nothing new age about it.
It is a part of the new age movement… It might have been a belief that was held before but it is classified as a part of many of the “new age” belief systems. Some even integrate Christianity into this. Furthermore - God talked to us long before Christ.

Our eternal Mother is the Virgin Mary - NOT the earth. We come from the dust - but God breathes life in us. Our Savior was born to the Virgin Mary - therefore she is our eternal mother. We live only through Him all other paths lead to destruction.

If Satan is the King or Prince of this world.

I don’t recognize or submit to his/her’s authority.

🤷

That’s what you believe and I respect that.

However, you should respect the fact that the majority of man kind does not believe what you hold to be true.

Last time I checked, the largest religion is Christianity - followed by the rest who believe in the same Father.

You know, lately it seems as though God has been chastising the world with all of the natural disasters and such that have struck in various parts of the world. There are also a lot of other things going on that would seem to indicate that the Lord is chastising the world. Are we undergoing a chastisement?

Please refrain from making personal remarks to me. I am not a topic.

Approximately 33% of the world is a Christian and believes that Jesus is the son of God.

The rest of the world does not believe that Jesus is the son of God.

In any event, of those 33%…how many are Christians in name only and basically, believe nothing of Christianity?

Source?

Regardless - 33%!! out of how many false religions? Then you probably would have another 20% fall under other religions that believe in the same Father and even have the same Sacred Texts.

I will need a source btw.

They never asked me!
You’re free to believe what you want, no matter the facts.

That’s the beauty of free will.

I am curious how many Christians you believe live on earth? 5 billion, 6.7 billion?

How many and of course, please cite your source.

Wait wait. Did you say facts?
I respond to your request with valid sources, you reject it because you apparently weren’t included in the census.

I in turn ask for the evidence you use to make your claim and you fail to provide it.

I suspect we will not find a middle ground.

Good day to you.

What claim is that? I would be happy to…if I only knew the claim you were referring to.
