im in the same boat right now, i know its tough. and i dont think the correct work wouldnt be generous, but rather…loving, more aptly though forgiving
but to answer your question directly…
yes, he is
you are responsible to some degree for your actions, BUT not to a large extent. also many of the actions you are worrying about may not even be sins
God knows your pain, its a phrase tossed around a lot and has become very cliche sadly, but he does, he knows you personally, and he knows that in your heart what you want is to be rid of the OCD and to follow Him
HE IS LOVE!!! and think of it like this: if you act trying to please a loving person, but because of outside forces you screw up a little along the way because you can’t think clearly, what would the loving person do? would he yell at you for screwing up and punish you, despite the fact you weren’t in your right mind, or would he look past that and embrace the fact that even in the face of the outsider forces, you still looked to please that person.
im sorry the analogy is rather weak, but the point is God loves you and understands that the OCD can greatly hinder your descision making process
pray to Him for peace and guidance, but remember…if you have Religous OCD, odds are in the end all you want is to please God, and even though you might not be able to see that, He does, and He will never, EVER, abandon you. REJOICE IN THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD!!
