Is grace communicated by Mary?

In a book written by Frank Duff and used by the Legion of Mary there are some statements made concerning Mary and grace. One such statement is " The Father has not given and does not give his Son except by her. He has no children but by her, and communicates no graces but by her." Also, " The Holy Spirit has not formed Jesus Christ except by her, neither does he form the members of our Lord’s Mystical Body except by her; and through her alone does he dispense his favours and his gifts."

Dear ponyjoe,

In the entire history of salvation Mary has a unique place. God chose her to be the mother of His Son. It was through her the Jesus became incarnate. Therefore one can truly say that the grace of our salvation came through her. This is really all that St. Louise de Monfort can possibly mean. Certainly, Jesus did not need her presence every time He worked a miracle or when He instituted the Eucharist. Yet all these things happened as the result of His becoming incarnate through her.
