Hello there,
Like my title suggests, I was wondering whether or not heavy metal is evil. My dad says that bands like Metallica are evil. He also says that the individual members of the band have LITERALLY sold their souls to the devil via a satanic priest. Is this true?
I have read through the lyrics of some of the groups. For example, the band Metallica sings about teenage rage and suicide. Does this make them evil?
I’m really concerned about the type of music that I’m listening to because my dad says it’s evil. It’s so hard NOT to listen to this kind of music today because it’s the IN thing to do. I’ve also heard that christian rock isn’t the best thing in the world to listen to either. So I guess I’m darned if I do and darned if I don’t.
P.S. Please refer my post to a priest. I would like his priestly advice!
