If anger reaches the point of a deliberate desire to kill or seriously wound a neighbor, it is gravely against charity; it is a mortal sin. The Lord says, āEveryone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment.ā - CCC 2303
I do not think you committed a mortal sin unless you had a deliberate desire to seriously hurt your husband. But you made the right decision by not taking chances, and playing it safe by going to confession before mass. I commend you for it!
