Is home Adoration allowed?

Hello,

I was wondering what the Church rules were about home Eucharistic Adoration. For lack of a more appropriate term, is it “kosher” with the Church to have the Blessed Sacrament in one’s home in a single host used for private devotions? Maybe kept in one of those communion holders [small containers used to distribute communion to shut ins, etc.] when not in use, like a miniature home tabernacle?

Hi,

No, the Church does not allow Eucharistic Adoration in private homes. It must be in a church or chapel.
