Stop political correctness when teaching history to our kids
Agreed completely in high school i got detention for objecting to my teacher calling the Crusades evil “open defiance” they called it
and do not tolerate any antisemitism, or anti-anything, from them.
Agreed again we need to treat antisemitic Muslims like we treat the KKK
If Islam is to be taught in the schools then so should the knowledge about sanctioned deception, teach about Jihad being a requirement and that 97% of it is taught as violence, and that Mohammed was all the things we usually say about him - pediphile, murderer, torturer, enslaver, etc.
Agreed, If they teach Islam in public schools they need to teach full fledged Islam not the PC version.
If they don’t want to observe regular working hours then get a different job. Prayer times will be stopped, eating pork or whatever anyone wants around a Muslim is ok, and if they want to fast/gorge and demand that others do it too - well, that will stop. They can fast/gorge on their own and no one else has to observe such a rule.
HUGE AGREEMENT, I’ve worked places were Muslims got five 15 minute paid breaks a day, while the rest of us got one 15 minute paid break a day they either need to start giving everyone the same amount of breaks or they need make Muslims clock out for every break after the first one.
Pork can be served in school cafeterias and if the Muslims don’t want it they don’t have to eat it.
I hated this the most when i was a freshmen in High School. I used to look forward to the day the cafeteria had Ham for lunch and Bacon for breakfast, but 6 months into the school year they stopped serving it to be “accommodating”
…get my drift - start the separation of church and state for them too!
Exactly, think of the uproar if Christians asked for special “prayer breaks”.

Is the rise of Islam in America and around the world going to be dangerous to the spread and livelihood of Catholicism. I’ve read that the ultimate goal of Islam is to rule the world and to convert every non-believer(infidel) to Islam and if they cannot be converted then murder is justified. This I’ve also read is derived from their “most holy texts” the Qur’an and the Hadith of Bukhari. If you ask a devout Muslim about such claims he is liable to say anything in order to placate the situation because derived from the same texts is that it is appropriate to deceive or lie to infidels for the spread of Islam.

I’m still very young in my Catholic faith but what I understand is that the epitome of being a Catholic is to be a saint(spiritual perfection) by loving the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and soul; and to love our neighbors as ourselves achieved through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
From my minimal research on Islam it seems the epitome of being a Muslim is to spread the world dominance of the religion using whatever means possible. Murder, Deception, Theft, TERROR. If these inherent evils lie deep in the hearts of all devout Muslims hidden in secret.
Could Islam be a global threat to Christianity in the near future?

website I got most these claims
www.thereligionofpeace.com
There are over a billion Muslims in the world. Do you think all of them have a clue on what the Koran says? They are like the great group of Christians who say that they follow Christ but have no clue as to what that entails.

I am going to wager that, no, Islam will not be a threat to Christianity in the near future. There will be some major events, but these are more of concern to the whole West than it is in just Christianity per se. I really don’t believe it will be possible to get the vast majority of Muslims against Christianity. Most are peaceful loving people who have to provide for their families. That doesn’t give them too much time to actively seek a fatwa against another religion.

It doesn’t matter at this point. Not enough of them do anything to stop the atrocities in Islam. It isn’t our responsibility to read them their atrocious Koran and their Sharia laws. Some of the problem are those Sharia laws and their clerics who uphold them and preach the hatred to them in the mosques.

If they want to do nothing about what Islam is and to change it from within then it is indeed our responsibility to preserve our culture and stop making excuses for their lacks. I am not going to apologize because I think their Islam is a bunch of hooey. I don’t even feel that way about anyone else’s religion none of them have clerics teaching atrocities in their places of worship nor do they support it with something they call charity. In Islam it (violent Jihadists) are indeed supported by the masses. And Western Muslims have no excuse for ignorance. They have plenty of sources to find out what their Koran says.

Ignorance is no excuse if you go into a court of law. Ignorance in the case of non-Muslim’s lives and their quality of life is no excuse either.

I don’t see what any of the points that I made are hurtful. All it is doing is telling them to keep their religion in their homes and at the mosque, and to disband organizations that are known to have ties to terrorist organizations, and to start telling the truth instead of some fairy tale about Islam. We will not send our taxes to countries that cannot behave properly and if they collect all this charity then it is about time they start dispersing it to the poor instead of Jihadists and their families who ulalate and celebrate as if it were a wedding when their kids blow themselves up while killing others.

FYI…google “Remembering Lepanto and the power of the Rosary”…it’s by Elizabeth Lev and we all need to read it asap. We are Catholic…and it’s our turn. We can do this…Christ Jesus can do this through us. Peace be with you all.

You said NOTHING hurtful…you speak truth and that is wonderful and rare in this day and age. Keep it up…we need it!

We can hope and pray that all future suicide bombers are no more competent
than Ahmed, the Dead Terrorist.

I would not say Islam is a threat to Christianity, but I absolutely believe that Islam will triumph at the end, as this is what our prophet has told us. The hadeeths already posted above are true. The Jesus (May Allah’s peace be upon him) will come again and he will break the cross and defeat the Christians. Then there will be abundance of wealth to the extent that there will be no people left in this earth to take charity.

Again guys, I have no hatred against Christians, for I am an engineering student at an American University and I have many christian friends, but what our prophet has said is true and will happen!
O.K. So you are at an American university and here you are free to practice your religion.

What do you think of the fact that Christians cannot practice their religion anywhere in the birthplace of the prophet - Saudi Arabia? Do you agree this is good? That there should be No Christian Churches in Saudi Arabia? Should Christians be allowed to build new churches in the Dar al-Islam, i.e. Egypt, Iraq, etc.

Do you believe a Muslim should be able to convert to Christianity without any consequence, or is leaving Islam for Christianity to be punished and, if so, how?

You are Sunni, and not Shiite, so you obviously don’t believe in the occultation of the hidden Imam and how today’s Iranian leadership tries to accelerate the Apocalypse and prepare the way for the Mahdi with radical foreign policies. But, as a Sunni, do you believe in armed Islamic movements that attempt to accelerate the goal you accept - turning the world entirely Islamic - i.e. Al-Qaeda or others? If you don’t agree with their Wahhabi approach, on what grounds do you argue that your understanding of the Koran is superior to their Wahhabi school of thought?

Just asking, sincerely, because I really have no idea where you stand. 🙂

Peary1,

Like Planten, you may be right…but I think a war is coming…pray and do penance…rosary, Eucharist, Bible devotion…to lessen it…

Praying the rosary and penance may have worked to defeat aspects of Communism, but when looking at what happened to Christian countries, they had to go to war.

To answer this question…one would need to be well informed regarding jihadist activity across the entire planet. This is available through www.jihadwatch.org and is worth signing up for the newsletters even if only checking them once a week. We do need to know the truth…but don’t need to marinate in it. We need to know enough to be able to pray and wake up.

I love Ahmed the Dead terrorist, I also love Ahmed and Saleem (on youtube).

Anyway, to something more serious about what is happening in the UK. It is similar to what I have read that is happening in India and Africa, and probably elsewhere such as in Eastern Eruope where we made the huge mistake in that area and helped radical Islam flourish.

Force conversions is in the UK. It will be only a matter of time before it starts happening here, or when we start hearing about it because parents/victims start speaking up.
Extremist Muslims who force vulnerable teenage girls to convert to Islam are being targeted by police, Met chief Sir Ian Blair has revealed.
Police are working with universities to clamp down on “aggressive conversions” during which girls are beaten up and forced to abandon university courses.
• Muslim pupils ‘need their own showers’
The Hindu Forum of Britain claims hundreds of mostly Sikh and Hindu girls have been intimidated by Muslim men who take them out on dates before terrorising them until they convert.
Sir Ian spoke about the problem at a conference organised by the forum.
A Met spokesman said: “Neighbourhood officers work with university authorities in London and we would encourage anyone targeted in this way to seek help and support and where necessary use third party reporting facilities if they do not want to contact police directly.”
Ramesh Kallidai, of the Hindu Forum of Britain, said: "Some girls are petrified because they are constantly being phoned up, having their door knocked.
“One girl was beaten up on the street and others have been forced to leave university.”
• Met police chiefs are to review a controversial stop-and-search power used in the fight against terrorism. Assistant commissioner Andy Hayman, the overall head of Britain’s anti-terrorist operations, said he had concerns about the number of stops carried out in London using Section 44 legislation.

Excellent post brother.

I am waiting for a response to your questions.
As far as I know, the Sunnis accept and elevate even those horrible Al-Bukhari hadiths that say the most attrocious things about the doings and sayings of the prophet Muhammad.

Peace to you.

I am a student of Texas A&M University at Qatar, which is a branch campus of Texas A&M.

As for building churches in Saudi, will vatican allow Muslims there to build a mosque? And before coming to Saudi, you come there knowing that there will be no churce, nor you will be allowed to build one. The bells of church cannot ring in the land of prophet. It is to maintain the sacredness of prophets land.

And in other gulf countries, there are churches. Qatar has allowed christians to build a church. Indian christians already have a church and another is being built.

We believe in Mahdi, the promised Imam who will appear before the hour. The Sunnis belief of Mahdi is different from Shia’s belief of Mahdi. We believe that when time comes, Allah will make Mahdi appear. We are not obsessed with Mahdi unlike Shias.

I do not believe in armed Islamic movements and I also renounce the Al-Qayeda movements. I know some people come up with the verses of Quran and show us that Allah has ordered us to all the kafirs. This is a wrong explanation of the verse. Allah has told us to be hard on the non-Muslim only when they break coveneat with us or only when they attack the Muslim land or Islam. All the battles that prophet fought, never initiated. Rather the Muslims were attacked first and they had no other option but to fight.

Even one of the grand mosque imama, Shiekh Kalbani said the terrorists those who are detonating themselves with bombs and killing innocents in order to achieve heaven are doing nothing but comitting suicide. And in Islam, the punishemnt for committing suicide is eternal hell fire.

However, Allah has ordered Muslims to establish Islam throughout the world. But it should be done peacefully. It should be done for many reasons: 1. Save as many people as we can from the hell fire 2. The world is the land of Allah and thus people should follow his religion.

Look at the democracy. How many American soldiers died just for democracy? Why US wants everyone to follow democracy? Because whoever comes up with an ideology or concept, he or she wants others to follow them. However, Islam is no ideaology. Islam is called DEEN in Arabic, which means ‘the complete code of life’. And we also want to spread Islam, mainly to save people from the Hell fire.

Please do not compare Vatican to Saudi Arabia, compare it to Mecca to be fair, so you can say:

Never!!!, he fought at least 29 wars to** spread **Islam!!!, it seems you need to refresh your memory with a little history:

Hello guys:

I am a new member of this forum.

I don’t think so. Jesus said that the gates of hell will never prevail against His Church! Not the a faith built upon by a false prophet.

**As for building churches in Saudi, will vatican allow Muslims there to build a mosque? **
Yes the Vatican will allow Muslims to build a church there.
And before coming to Saudi, you come there knowing that there will be no churce, nor you will be allowed to build one. The bells of church cannot ring in the land of prophet. It is to maintain the sacredness of prophets land.

Welcome back, bishonnomahmud. Glad to see the GRE has not kept you away for long. 🙂

Then Islam is not a tolerant religion, if the basis for this is religious. There are mosques in Jerusalem and other lands where Christ walked, so why can’t there be churches in the land of the prophet?
Allah has told us to be hard on the non-Muslim only when they break coveneat with us or only when they attack the Muslim land or Islam. All the battles that prophet fought, never initiated. Rather the Muslims were attacked first and they had no other option but to fight.

Then please explain S. 9:29 of the Koran.

Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

There is no sign of self-defense here. This was one of the later revealed passages of the Koran, when Mohammad had more power than he did when he first went to Mecca. Muslims are ordered to fight no those who attack or oppress them, but those who believe not in Allah nor His Messenger even if they are People of the Book (ie. Jews and Christians). They are not to stop until they (obviously) convert to Islam or pay the jizya (a tax on non-Muslims, which is again a sign of religious intolerance) and “feel themselves subdued” (some translations say “brought low” or “in a state of subjection”).

I just cant believe that an engineering student does not use common sense when questioning. Do you know the size of Vatican City? I bet more than 1000 Vaticans will fit in Saudi Arabia, and here we have an engineer asking for a mosque in Vatican. Do you know what the population of Vatican is? Make a wild guess, and how many of them are muslims? What is the meaning of a mosque in your religion? Just a building because you have money? or a place of worship with no worshipper? Or maybe an hidden agenda to take over Vatican, as has been the case, eat the hand that feeds you.

Secondly, We Christians know who is the prince of the earth, and that is Satan, and if Muslims think that Allah has ordered them to make islam the world religion, than we know very well what the satan wants to accomplish and thru whom.

Also its not only the bells of the church, but also the Cross that makes Satan shiver and maybe thats why building a Church is forbidden in the heartland of Islam. 🙂
