When I read the history of Islam for several years, saw the brutality, I wished I had never known about Islam and now it is here.

The only response I have is Mary, and especially both Mary of Fatima, and Mary of Guadalupe. She is the only help…her words, prayer, penance, Adoration…and for us to love our enemies.

The word for disobedience in some translations has been translated as ‘rebelliousness’ and in some cases ‘infidelity’.

Since beating is only a last resort, I guess the behavior would be stubborn refusal on the part of the wife to obey her husband even after he admonishes her and refuses to have sex with her. Ideally, the wife should obey the husband as is her duty, so this situation should ideally not arise.

Note, that a wife can only obey her husband as long as he doesn’t order her to do something contradictory to Islam. So if a husband tells his wife to worship gods other than Allah, the wife can (should) refuse and cannot be beaten.

I have a question wich I hop isn’t too offensive, but one i’ve always wondered about: Are Muslim women allowed to enjoy sexual relations with their husbands or are they to be submissive and non responsive?

actually a very good question. dont some muslims “circumcise” their females? if so that would kill any enjoyment they might have, and actually make relations quite painful. its a horrible practice. Peace

The seculars in the Western governments are working in tandem with the Muslims who want to take over Europe and destroy Christianity. And then everything wrong by the seculars is blamed as Christian.

I have never even known of such behavior. I have read as well that this goes back to tribal Middle Eastern mores BEFORE Islam. Somehow, Islam cannot stop it…and it looks like it has been integrated into Islam in various levels of the MIddle East.

I left my native home over 20 years ago. I recently talked with an old friend. We would talk and share about the world situation in the 80’s. But never in our minds did we see the enemy as foreign desert people coming to our shores and committing such atrocities.

The family looks moderate. But they are still tribal inside. For me, it is the sin of Cain. These problems have never been resolved since ancient times. And now modern and ancient are coming face to face…and the godless are defying Christian values and working with the militant Muslims to overcome our way of life.

There was a terrible demonstration in England this past week…how tolerant these people are…shameful.

You have found the motherload.(refer to large print that is highlighted). Secularism is our greatest enemy and is working in tandem with these tribal gangs to overtake the world. This may sound outlandish but it is here there are demographics that prove this phenomenom is happening here and now.

Please refer to this link and watch the startling news; I think that I will make it a new thread so that many people will open their eyes and realize what is happening. I see too many christians foresaking their faith because they are liberal, lax and hard-hearted.

What kind of mother would allow such a thing? I asked myself the same question. It’s a whole different mentality, and a scary one at that.

Great post, Kathleen! They are tribal inside just as you stated. It’s a nomadic existence, just like Muhammad’s. After all, they do everything as he did. In Europe for instance, they take over certain areas, which quickly turn into slums or ghettos and which non-Muslims enter at their peril!

That’s not the first time that Muslims have insulted returning British soldiers either!

I think the rejection or turning away from Christ in Europe will be their undoing and their punishment. Christ spits out the lukewarm.

But when the media was attempting to destroy any credibility in the Catholic Church in America during Holy Week this past year, the Lord was restoring it. We saw the greatest Easter attendance and Baltimore, Maryland saw 1,000 new converts.

So whatever is taken away, the Lord replaces.

The seminarians are being fed Christ Himself in these persecutions, and are eager to go out to spread the Gospel and rebuild the Church.

I think something extraordinary will come to Europe. And some day it might be Mary who will help the Muslims come to Christ. The world is too small now. You can’t hide any wrong doing…the mass communications do the work of God in exposing darkness and bringing it to light.

What you are seeing in neighborhoods are very bad people holding the rest of their community in hostage. A son of a leader of Hamas converted to Christ. He says militant Islam will implode within itself in 10 years.

The Lord may have to purify the earth to remove all the damage done to it. We now keep more and more our focus on the Lord and let those who chose other than Him reap the choices of their life.

The Lord sustain us!
