I am heard that Islam is quickly spreading in Europe. A lot of Catholic converts to Islam. Is this true?

Hmmm. References would be helpful.

Also which kind of Islam? Because there are factions with severe disagreements that are leading into bloodshed at mainly Muslims nations.

Islam is NOT spreading in Europe, it is not more than a myth, Did you read book called
The Myth of Muslim Tide ?.

Muslims will be about % 7 of Europe in the year of 2030. and mostly because of the birth rate and immigration, in the last 10 years in UK, less than % 0.5 of them converted to Islam, First two reasons for Muslim spreading in UK is Immigration and Birth rate, The first one if going down because of the new immigration laws across Europe and the economic situation. and the second one is going down too because Muslims families are getting more social with Europe culture, also they can’t keep getting more children specially with the economic situation in Europe, from where they are going to get the money for the kids? I recommend you to read the book (The Myth of Muslim Tide).

Two people who are believing the myth of Muslim tide, and they either Islamophobic people or Muslims extremists. The first one trying to make the people afraid and vote for the right political parties in Europe,

Fr Mitch Pacwa’s program the other day was talking about this, and heard reports from Al Jazeera that in Sub-Sahara African, millions of Muslim are converting to Christ.

The other Muslim countries forbid Muslims from leaving their religion or else face execution.

That is right indeed, If other Muslim countries allowed to it’s people to convert to any other religion, the world would be shocked of how much Muslims are actually Christians.

I have no wish to rain on anyone’s parade (such news, if true, would overjoy me), but this is reportedly a piece of false information spread by the Libyan cleric in the al-Jazeera interview, who hoped to inspire Muslims to become more involved in missionary work by exaggerating/fabricating the numbers.
 
Islam requires outer conformity to the religious form and outer display of religiosity.
What is in a person’s heart is irrelevant to whether or not you are part of the group.

It would shock me therefore, if there were a lot of Muslims on the outside who are actually Christians on the inside. More likely though, there are a lot of Muslims on the outside who are actually secularists, if not outright atheists, on the inside.
For leftist secularism is the most dynamic religion in the world right now, by far.

With Secularism comes political correctness and a refusal to deal with Islam or else be painted as a hateful racist bigot? Yeah i can see that.

I think that too (Notice first that I don’t believe any of that myth about Europe becoming Muslim nation). however, if we can see, the United States is the least country in the western world that could become Muslim country, Muslims in the US are about %1 and they are about to be maybe at the most %3 in the year of 2030. and that is too low when you compare it with Canada for example, where Muslims will be about % 6 to 8 by the year of 2030. and the UK where also Muslims will be about % 7 to 9. and Sweden which is one of the most secular countries and Muslims at the most will be % 15 by the year of 2030.

Even though the author of (The Myth of Muslim Tide) thinks that wether the country is secular or not, has nothing to do with the rate of Muslims. I disagree with him, because I can see that the more religious the country is, the less the rate of Muslims. So, it is normal, I mean when you have country like the United States where there are more power for religion and strong culture, it is hard to brake that wall and change it that easy, but with the secular countries like Sweden, it is too liberal, that it is very easy to change it from this to that, like from very liberal to very religious.

Again, I need to remind you that I don’t believe in the myth of Muslim will take over Europe.

WRONG! Secularism is not atheism. Why do Muslims misunderstand the difference between the both?

Secularism is the principle of separation of government institutions, and the persons mandated to represent the State, from religious institutions and religious dignitaries.

Atheism is the rejection of belief in the existence of deities.

%18 of Europe doesn’t believe in God. just %18. So, there are % 82 who do believe in God or Gods, soul, afterlife…etc.

The short answer is no - in no single country does Isalm represent more that 7% of the population (and that is Germany which has a higher proportion of Turkish migrants than elsewhere in Europe.)

Islam is growing rapidly in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, Greece. Take a look around cities in some of those countries on Google Maps. The UK, officially has something like 1600 mosques. Most big Western European cities already have large areas that are predominantly Muslim.
