Do you guys know what Saudis do to terrorists? They have a very strong rehabilitation program for accused terrorists. Al-Qaeda is pretty much hated and any involvement with them is a major crime.
CNN reports that a poll taken in 2004 shows that almost half of Saudis polled have a favourable view of Osama bin Laden sermons.Do you guys know what Saudis do to terrorists? Thank you for your ‘Gentle Reminder’ Sister Amy. While I have not commented on this thread that is not the case on other threads…Do you guys know what Saudis do to terrorists? They have a very strong rehabilitation program for accused terrorists. Al-Qaeda is pretty much hated and any involvement with them is a major crime.
So sad that you can only look back for the good things.
Well donot say that we have so many scientist in previously. lots of math come from muslims. who invent the spoon. Long time ago Baghdad, Iraq was one of the education place and knowledgeable place. Chengaz Khan when start from china where he go he destroyed everything and they destroyed lots of islamic science books from the library of baghdad. There was so many light in that city. Man you have to read the History. Our civilization is best in the world.
2004? Let’s try something more recent. This data is from December 2007 or so.CNN reports that a poll taken in 2004 shows that almost half of Saudis polled have a favourable view of Osama bin Laden sermons.
Not sad at all. At least we had a good history and did not live in dark age. There is something to remember. The topic is about blessings. We have to think about it, about the birth place of Jesus too before responding to that question of blessings. If the place where Jesus was born is blessed then surely the place where Muhammad was born will also be blessed. So easy.So sad that you can only look back for the good things.
That’s good news. It only took six years of jihad-terrorism since September 11 attacks to make it only 15% of Saudis having a favourable opinion of Bin Laden. Maybe in another six years we’ll see the end of suicide terrorists and that should make Muhammad’s birthplace blessed again.2004? Let’s try something more recent. A very recent poll of Saudis by Terror Free Tomorrow–an American organization–had this to say about Saudis:
“**Less than one in ten **Saudis have a favorable opinion of Al Qaeda, and 88 approve the Saudi military and police pursuing Al Qaeda fighters. Only fifteen percent of Saudis have a favorable opinion of Bin Laden himself.”
terrorfreetomorrow.org/upimagestft/TFT%20Saudi%20Arabia%20Survey.pdfIt’s a rather long report. The quote is on page 3 of the document.
The title of the report reads:
**Saudi Arabians Overwhelmingly Reject Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, Saudi Fighters in Iraq, and Terrorism; Also among most pro-American in Muslim world. **

To be quite honest with you, I think the most bothersome responses are those regarding Israel. I’m coming to the opinion that Muslims, while trying to defend the Palestinians, in fact actually go to an extreme in their opinion of Israelis and Jews. I think that needs to be corrected (by the Muslims) before there can be real progress towards peace and justice in the world. That’s good news. It only took six years of jihad-terrorism since September 11 attacks to make it only 15% of Saudis having a favourable opinion of Bin Laden. (P.S. Q6j on page 35 bothers me)
