I had a certain theological question eating away at me, and I found part of the answer on a Google Books preview. Wouldn’t you know it, but the page I needed was unavailable in the preview, so I said in my heart “Even if it’s a sin, I gotta know!” and I googled for a PDF of that book. I was unsure about the gravity of downloading a PDF of the book (I am still not sure if it is a grave matter or not). Anyway, they didn’t have it. So, would it be a sin since I was never able to act on my desire?
