It is a question of freedom? Is everything a matter of sin, or can I just relax and enjoy something like a cigarette? You might not enjoy cigarettes, but some people do. It is a chance to sit down and alenjoy something with someone, like a cup of coffee.

Well, I didn’t really think we got into it (did we? i don’t think I was that invested in it, so :confused:) I don’t think I said sinful, either; that’s a big leap in judgement. We disagreed on something, though.

The books with the new artwork will released in September so I anticipate new threads asking if Harry Potter is bad for Catholics to read right around that time. Til then :tanning:

You’re right. This is a very important topic and now the thread has devolved into silliness. I feel this is my fault and I probably shouldn’t have told LilyM I was kidding about her mispellings looking like Welsh or Dutch and maintained my position that fun is potentially sinful. People were making some really good points.

Let us continue a more sober discussion.
