Must I go to confession if I miss Mass without a good reason? Can I still receive the Eucharist?
 
Dear O,

Yes, it is a mortal sin to deliberately miss Sunday Mass when one could have atteded and chose not to. Yes, you must go to Confession first before receiving Holy Communion.

Pray for a greater appreciation for what the Mass. It is the celebration of His Passion, Death and Resurrection. There is nothing that happens on this earth to equal it.
