Is it a mortal sin to slip a curse word?

hi, i just went to confession, and will do my best to stay away from sin, but what i want to know is this: if i accidently slip a cuss word outloud or to myself in anger, is it still a mortal sin?

thanks. i really need to know as im just now getting a grasp on mortal sin, and want to be able to recive the eucharist. thank you.
