Is it a sin not to pray enough?

Thought this might be interesting here…Let’s define pray - as it is used by Paul in “pray unceasingly”…

According to Strongs concordance
4336 proseúxomai (from 4314 /prós, “towards, exchange” and 2172/euxomai, “to wish, pray”) – properly, to exchange wishes; pray – literally, to interact with the Lord by switching human wishes (ideas) for His wishes as He imparts faith (“divine persuasion”).

Pray is not about reciting formulas so much as it is about “exchanging wishes” and interacting with God.
This is something we should be doing at all times…So Paul speaks of “interacting” and “exchanging wishes” with God unceasingly.

Peace
James

You feel guilty because you know you are not interacting enough with God. Do so throughout your day starting first thing in the morning, and then you will not have to feel guilty at night when you feel sleepy and can’t pray as much as you’d like. God bless you.

Guys, Gals, the prayer that is ceaseless, Prayer that one can see all the time, with care…the ‘Jesus Prayer’…

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Have Mercy on me,

After I finish my prayers for the night, may I still pray and reflect on God in my mind whilst I fall asleep? So I am with God in prayer constantly (even though it isn’t verbal)?

The more you pray and are recollected in mind the better.

Be sure to begin your day and end it with some morning and night prayers, pray your rosary some time during your day, along with at least 10 min. of mental prayer … and pray ejaculations. God bless you.
