My parish priest has told me that Catholics should not attend gay “weddings” as marriage cannot be between a same sex couple according to God’s law. My niece is having a lesbian wedding. If I attend I believe I become part of the problem inasmuch as people failing to stand up for God’s law facilitate the spread of evil and immorality. If I do not go my sister thinks I am being mean. My not attending will be a bring major discord into my family. Do I attend despite the immorality of the union?
