Is it a sin to listen to rap music? My aunt has said it is because it plays tricks on your mind or it influences it to think of sinful things.
Or is it a sin to watch anime?
 
Regarding the rap, would you consider these sinful?

Anime is a little harder though. I think some of it delves into soft - if not - full-blown porn as well as occult themes…but that’s been my observation…

Listening to rap music isn’t sinfull some of the words maybe a little innapropriate depending on who you listen too and as for watching anime. What anime is it that you enjoy watching are we talking pokemon, Dragon ball z, sailor moon or are we talking soft porn anime
 
The anime I watch tend to have some blood in them so u could just say they are sort of a violent, drama type show.

As with most genres of music, rap is not, in and of itself, sinful. It can be made sinful, however, if the lyrics endorse sinful acts or attitudes.
 
I would call it bad only beacuse my nearly 14 year old wastes so much time watching it when there is study and chores to do

Well, rap music doesn’t do wonders for souls. Maybe try listening the classicsl music?
 
Rap music sometimes adds foul languages while anime sometimes intentionally looks too sexy. It depends on how skillful you filter what you listen and watch. But I do watch Vatican Miracle Examiner anime though.

One must be careful what he or she hears as in Romans 10:17 So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.so what would happen of the opposite, of this verse?
