Hey so I was jw if it was a sin to exchange money for sexy pics & vids… I found this website where I could do that… & was thinking about joining because I could use the extra money tbh. … I have a lot posted on my Instagram and always getting asked if I would sell them… So it gave me the idea… I mean I take them myself & there not nudes or something…jus kinda sexy ish … But it would be super easy job thing on the side jus to have some extra income… :ok_hand:t3: but I mean if it’s really bad I’m not gonna do it … What do u guys think? … If guys wanna buy them then that’s not on me… It’s their choice … 😉 it’s not like I’m doing anything physically there jus pics??..

Oh stop. You don’t really need to ask us that question. You know the answer.

Agree with @IrishMom2. You know it’s wrong, that’s why you’re asking. God created you in His likeness and image for a purpose and it isn’t to sell “sexy” photos of yourself on the internet. God Bless you.

It is wrong and the Internet Police won’t like you. It is exploitation for financial gain. If you need extra money get a job or an extra job.😦

yes, it is very wrong because those men would probably think of you as an object instead of a woman made in God’s image who is to be respected and loved. I am not sure how serious the sin would be, but the line between venial and mortal sin for lust is very thin. I would advise you to avoid it as you will probably lead others to sin.

It’s really bad - don’t do it.

And get those photos of yourself off of Instagram, as well - you have no idea who’s looking at them, and you don’t need that kind of reputation.

Not only is it a sin, but is a gateway to becoming a pornographer. You’ll stat getting “special requests.” It is exploitation. There are too many ways to make an honest buck that won’t land you in hell.

I do not know how “Sexy-ish” your pics are but what is alarming to me other than you are thinking about doing this is your words that if guys want to buy your pics that is on them not on you. You appear to have a lax conscience when it comes to sin… please let me explain

If you know that most of these guys that are buying your pics are looking at them to arouse themselves, it is very much ON YOU as well as on them. Because you are leading them to sin. Lets be honest here. Are your pictures “sexy-ish” with the intent to turn on men?" I can bet that they do not want to buy pictures of you simply because you are well dressed and might have a pretty face and a good body. They want to buy them because they know they will turn men on.

Just ask yourself this. Would Jesus approve of what you are thinking about doing? Would he approve of that fact that these pics are already on instagram?

So, in August of last year, you were asking if flirting and posting provocative photos of yourself was a sin… Now, you have progressed to wanting to get money for sexy photos.

Obviously, you need to go back and reread that first thread. I suppose everyone that posted on that thread will think their words fell on deaf ears if this is what you are thinking of doing now.

Honestly, you are headed for trouble if you continue on this path.

Also, to make this more of a teaching moment, seems drug dealers could also state “if people want to buy my drugs it’s not on me”.

Wow. So basically your attitude is " I’ll sell sexy photos, but it’s whatever."
Yeah, no. No male respects a female who is “thirsty.”
Cover yourself up (you totes can be cute doing so) and stop taking trashy photos. Be a lady.

This seems to be the workings of a troll, but in case it isn’t. I highly suggest you immerse yourself in Saint JP II’s theology of the body. Knowing that it is wrong without knowing why it’s wrong does little here. The body is beautiful and it is easy to fall into temptations hidden behind the beauty. A good start would be Theology of the Body for Begginers by Christopher West.
