Is it a sin to flirt with guys?

I have an account on Instagram. If you are not familiar with it, its where you post pics and you have followers. You can talk to your followers directly which i sometimes do. I get a lot of attention from guys because of my pics. So i like to flirt with these guys sometimes, and they say i tease them. I guess i like to tease them a little. Just wondering if what i am doing is wrong or a sin? I mean im not doing anything physical. Im just talking to them. I dont know, i have been just thinking about this? Thank you for answers.

As Post #2 said, it depends on content, but you can’t be so scrupulous as to not flirt. Flirting is necessary romantic communication that shows an interest beyond friendship.

It sounds like you have the right idea, just don’t post provocative pics of yourself.

I guess they are provacative. I do get suggestive comments. & yes to everything else.
I guess i just see it as innocent fun?

You need to use judgement here. Some guys are so wound up they’d find a girl in a burka attractive.

Don’t be posting pics of yourself in a bikini or close-up shots of a low-cut shirt for the purpose of getting attention.

I would stick to pics you would normally take.

As always, if you’re not sure, as someone already said, ask your confessor.

If it’s innocent “Aren’t you a charmer?” or “You’re cute when you’re mad.”, that’s fine. If it’s more provocative of a message, it’s sinful. I’d also be careful that the pictures themselves aren’t too sexy.

Don’t ever be afraid of the sacrament of reconciliation when you need it. It is where you get to meet Jesus, and he wants to meet you badly. Embarrassment may be a sign that your conscience is working right, but it could also be a weapon in the hands of Satan to keep you from the grace of God. Priests are there to forgive what needs forgiving, not to punish.
