That may be. But the quote that romano gave us suggested that even the “good stuff” loses it’s goodness when it is used to keep away a greater good (as may be found in silence). This would be like the salt losing it’s flavor. I believe that we are in such times. Which would mean that the face of Christ is getting very close.Maybe it’s because there really is more than one valid point of view. It is possible to watch television without ever seeing the “stupid” or “pornographised” stuff. It’s just a matter of selectively using the remote control to watch only the channels that have the good stuff.
The pornographic mentality has almost nothing to do with sex or the naked body. In fact, it should not have come as a surprise to us that ultimately it’s very definition is that it is everything but sex; it is sexlessness, or at least it leads to that state. And it cannot be seen; therefore it cannot be judged either. So, when we think we are able to avoid the problem by ‘changing the channel’ we may be deluding ourselves.
