Is it a sin to let my daughter skip Ash Wednesday?

I know that Ash Wednesday is a holy day of obligation. Would I be sinning if I let my 11-year-old daughter skip this service?
 
Actually, Ash Wednesday is not a holy day of obligation. Even so, if you were planning to attend, you might want to ask yourself what could possibly be more important for your daughter to be doing than to attend with her family.
