Bad phrasing on my part. There is a prevailing belief that holiness is only for the spiritually elite when it’s really for all of us.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness of others.I suggest that when you’re in a parking lot and the handicap parking area has a cart sitting there in the way, put the cart in it’s spot. This allows a person to pull into that spot. Often a mobility challenged person needs the cart to walk so they cannot return the cart and make it back to their vehicle very easily.
What does it matter? A sin is a sin. We’re called to not sin AT ALL, not just not sin mortally. Is it a mortal sin? It was not so much as a “I’m not going to do it!!” It was more of a “eh I’ll do it later” and then just kind being lax about it.
Scripture does say about the lukewarm that he would vomit them out of his mouth.Anyway, let’s just say that I didn’t do it at all. Is being lazy or not attentive and not completing your penance a sin in anyway? Or just a venial sin for that matter?
