My cousin said it is but I’m going to a Halloween themed concert in a few days I always thought it’s what’s in your heart that counts and if u don’t do anything sinful then it isn’t a sin to participate I’m not dressing as anything evil I’m being princess Jasmin I already bought my ticket for this concert and everything

Should be fine. It is just a make-believe stuff. Unless you started to worship pagan dieties, blasphemed or acted immorally during the concert.

Keep your heart open to All Saints Day and All Souls’ Day. I prefer them OVER Halloween, but try not to limit your celebration to Halloween.

Just a suggestion… lighting a candle at church for a dollar or so will help the departed. Prayers for the holy souls in purgatory (especially the Saint Gertrude Prayer) are especially helpful during this period of festivities.
