Holy Elspeth, guide our tongues
To sing to Saradomin’s praise;
Grant us the vision that you saw
To hold before us all our days.

Teach us to stand fast as you stood,
Undaunted by the demon’s cries;
The clash of battle shook you not
Nor heeded you Zamorak’s lies.

Teach us that single piercing note
That rang out with your final breath,
That shook to ash the demon’s heart,
Brought it to silence and to death.

And when for us life’s music fades
As mortal voice and hearing fail,
Grant us to join the eternal choir
And sing with you beyond the veil.

Hmm. I guess if you were singing it consciously as a prayer, that would definitely be wrong. If you were just humming along and didn’t realize what they were saying, no that wouldn’t be a sin.

Personally, I wouldn’t be very comfortable with it, knowing what they are saying, since it does seem to be praying to a false god.

It appears to me that this is related to a fantasy RPG like RuneScape and that these characters are not real. Christian saints, on the other hand, are real, and we give all our praise to the living God. Do you really want to be seen or heard joining in a parody of faith?

Instead of singing or listening to this song, I suggest you spend some time reading the Book of Revelation. Follow it carefully and you will see the Blessed Virgin Mary revealed in heavenly glory, along with Christ and the New Jerusalem. You will also see parodies of these things: the Whore of Babylon, the Dragon and the Beasts, and the nations of the world and their kings and rulers. The descriptions of them are similar but unholy. You will see how these evil things are destroyed and pass away before God inaugurates His eternal Kingdom on Earth.

It is important to note that reading of Sacred Scripture is an indulgenced act, so with the proper disposition and the three usual prerequisites, spending half an hour reading Revelation will gain you a plenary indulgence; can RuneScape do that?

How is one praising someone by singing this?

I know Saradomin is fake.

Nah, relax.

This is related to RuneScape, right? I see nothing wrong with this. RuneScape’s deities are fictional, created solely for a fantasy MMORPG. As long as you treat them as such, I’d say go and sing your heart out.
