Is it a sin to stop receiving communion?

I plan on continuing to attend Sunday mass, but will I be in a state of sin if I stop receiving communion? Thank you.
 
It is not a sin to not receive communion, outside of our duty to receive at least once during the Easter season. Our obligation is to attend Mass, not to receive communion. Obviously receiving communion is encouraged for those in a state of grace but it is not required nor is it a sin not to.
