This may be a silly question… but latley I’ve been thinking about when me and my boyfriend get married and have sex… I think about what it will be like. Thinking about this doesnt lead me to touching myself or anything, its more curiousty than anything, so I was wondering is this considered to be sinful? … I’ve been praying novenas for other lust issues, and it’s helped and I feel fine… but now i’m just wondering about this?

Not at all! It’s only natural to look forward to the physical expression of love and life in marriage! It’s truly a blessing! Continue to pray, and to ask God to keep you strong until your wedding night. It’s SO worth it (I speak from experience!)

Read the Song of Songs in the bible. THAT is a good expression of Christian sexuality. It shows not only the PURE desire of spousal love, but also why it’s such a precious gift, and so vital to contain the desire until you are married. I must have read through it a billion times when I was engaged, and getting frustrated with waiting.

Just remember to guard your thoughts though, because sometimes curiosity and feeding thoughts can lead to lustful thoughts, and those aren’t helpful. 🙂
