It is a bit of a silly question to put as the topic, but here’s my question

I was listening to a online radio show. They suddenly started making sexual jokes. A sexual image entered to my head, which i immediately and easily flushed out of my head by calling on the Holy Sprint With little stress, I ignored this image and was not tempted to lust.

Despite the fact that it did not cause me to lust, did i committ a sin by continuing to listen? The reasons i continued to listen is because they were discussing films, and I enjoyed their conversation when they talked about films

In other words, I didn’t listen for the dirty jokes they made in one section of the show. But, did i Sin?

hey!

personally, i don't think it's an occasion of sin if it doesn't cause you to sin. I may be wrong, so it's probably a good idea to ask a priest.

I don’t think this particular case would be. However, if this radio show frequents the topic of sex and you can be reasonably sure that whenever you listen to the show that the topic of sex will come up and you know that will lead you to think about it, then it’s an occassion and should be avoided.

You say that you enjoy the commentary on movies, but if this station is going to talk 10 minutes about sex and 2 minutes about movies you may want to consider alternative places to get your movie commentary. 👍
