I have a pretty basic question but it’s one that I can’t get a consensus on. I’m hoping you all on the forum can help me here.
I work at a Catholic school. Next week is the Solemnity of the Assumption, a Holy Day of Obligation. Is it appropriate for me to email my coworkers with the intention of reminding them of the Holy Day and also inviting them to Mass with me so they can fulfill their obligation? Not all of them are Catholic, but some of them are.
Note: I attend the Extraordinary Form of the Mass on most occasions and I will be next week for the Holy Day. Take that as you will.
Thanks for the help!
