Is it appropriate to have a Mass offered for an anti-Catholic?

I had a good friend die today and have had a close relative die recently, they were both great people with a strong belief in Jesus as their Savior but neither were great fans of the Catholic Church.

I want to have masses said for them, is their any reason why this wouldn’t be proper given their feeling about the Church before their death.

It is appropriate to have Mass offered for anyone!. Go to it!
