What do you think of doing other things (e.g. reading spiritual books) while in the same room with God? Is it better to leave the room if you’re not there to interact directly with God himself?
Is it appropriate to read books (e.g., Christian classics) with the intent of growing closer to the Lord when we’re sacramentally in God’s presence? The idea strikes me as absurd if you replace the personage of a private audience with someone less (e.g., the Pope), so how much more wrong would it be for a private audience with someone much greater than the Pope – God himself!
