Is it because of my sin?

Hi,

I was trying to solve an issue for the last three days but couldn’t fix it until some minutes before. These days, I was repeating some of my sin and I never tried to get rid of it. But today I felt that, why I can’t fix this issue even I tried hardly ? I remember about my sin and prays a lot and I can fix it easily. The solution was near to me but I couldn’t find it until I prayed.

In between this, I avoid the call of three girls and this also a help me to reach in the hands of Jesus.

Do you believe that, because of my sin I couldn’t solve that issue ? If so, why Satan is making this much problems to me ? He is really playing with girls and sexy thoughts.

You are right. We need to pray, to ask God’s help to avoid sin.
You are human, and because you are human, you can be tempted to sin.
In praying for God’s help you have the strength to avoid sin, as you have discovered.

Satan makes such problems for all of us because he hates God and he hates us, God’s beloved children.

we are simply surrounded by temptation. the devil wants you to believe you’ll NEVER gain self-mastery. the devil wants you to believe the lie, “this will NEVER be easier. just give in now.”

but don’t believe him. God allows us temptation, we’re tested by it. then he gives us all the graces we need to overcome temptation.

sometimes, after we’ve proven our testing, God protects us from certain temptation. they just don’t mean anything to us anymore.

What sin are you talking about? If it’s what I’m guessing, you are focusing on it to much IMHO. The more you dwell on it the more difficult it will become. Drop it, go on and live your life, talk to the girls etc… if you sin, ask for forgivness and go to confession at the earliest possible time but don’t dwell on it. We make mistakes, we are only human.

The real point is to NOT let sin rule your life, if you can’t live it, it’s ruling - forgiven or not. Pray for strength, focus on Christ and live. When you fail, ask for forgiveness and move on again. Satan isn’t making it hard on you, it’s called hormones and being male. Christ can give you the strength to overcome those temptations. Focus on Him, not the sin.

Do you have an adoration Chapel nearby? An hour, or even 30 minutes there in prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament once a week or so could really help, especially mid-week.
