Is it correct to say "Amen" after the Fatima prayer?

I have noticed inconsistency from good sources regarding the use of the word “Amen” after saying the Fatima prayer during the Rosary. For instance, the book Catholicism for Dummies and a few Rosary instructional sheets I have say to say “Amen”, but Mother Angelica on EWTN does not, and I have seen Rosary instructional sheets that do not. A friend is telling me I should not be saying “Amen”. Can anyone tell me the what is right? If it is simply optional, why?
Thanks & God Bless, TM

Hi,

I have never heard an Amen to “Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially though who have most need of your mercy.”

Whether one adds an Amen or not is no big deal.
