Hello
I hope this question will be answered since Im not a US resident and call charges and postal mail charges are too heavy for me.
My question is, marriage is a covenant between God and the spouse. If so, is it a sin for a Catholic who believes God will restore marriages and who is willing to wait for the spouse’s return at God’s timing to their marriage to consent to a mutual divorce to avoid all legal battles between the spouse and his/her family or should this person carry his/her cross and fight the legal battles?
I pray that somebody answers this question and thanks.
