as a child I had a nightmare to happen, my father stepped into my room one night. This was after he returned from Vietnam, and I do believe it was PTSD. I grew up with no one believing me, my mother mainly, mostly no one in my family. I grew up, had children, and he then molested my daughter, for which I had no other choice than to have him arrested. This happened 20 years ago for her, and he still denies the actions, believing I never had any reason to do what I did. And again no one in this family believed me or her. All this time I have tried over and over again to forgive him for what happened. My parents have grown old and I have been there front and center to help them and care for them. Recently my mother died, and to my worst horror I have found that they, my parents, willed my brother every single thing, including selling their house, and he gets every thing. I have been told I will not get anything, including my baby pictures, absolutely nothing, and it will be trashed after my father dies. Further more, my father has kicked me out of his life and never wants to see me again. Again after bringing charges against him from molesting my daughter. I know the 10 commandments say to honor my mother and father, and I have tried over and over again only to find out in the end I have been hurt again. I wish I could figure out what I have done to deserve such a life, I wish God could hear my prayers. He would know that all I ask for is that my hateful cold hearted father convert his life, soul, and heart to God. Then again sometimes I could give up, and I ask when is it ok not to forgive?
