Is it forbidden to have Catholic Mass at other religion's temple?

Is it forbidden to have Mass at other religion’s temple especially in a buddhist temple??
 
On military bases most chapels are multi- religious. Every religion uses the same building. Our Holy Father Pope Jhn Paul II celebrated Mass in the Patriarchal Palace of the Armenian Orthodox Patriarch Kerekin II . In an emergency I would imagine that the Mass could and has been celebrated almost anywhere
 
I think it would be most imprudent to celebrate the Holy Mass in a Buddhist temple or any pagan house of worship.
