The woman sounds like her objection to BC was not the same as the Catholic one. Probably similar to my own objection to BC. (I am not Catholic.) I object to any BC that has potential to cause abortion. Condoms have no potential to harm the child should the woman become pregnant. The stance is only hypocritical if she also claims to be a practicing Catholic (or some other creed/religion that bans all ABC).I knew of a woman who was willing to have sex outside marriage but not use BC. Oddly enough she was okay with her partners using condoms.
So, strangely enough, such people do exists.![]()
As for the OP question, Itās like saying āIf youāre gonna sin, be sure and do several sins at once!ā Not doing one sin doesnāt justify the one you did. But at the same time, is it necessary to sin several ways just cause you are already sinning one way?
Neither is good but which is better, fornicating or fornicating AND contracepting?
