Assuming you mean the United States, no. This would fall under the freedom of speech protections guaranteed in the First Amendment. Although I agree it is distasteful it should not be illegal.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some state or local laws within the US that make this illegal but I do not know of any. If they exist they would likely be overturned in court.

No it is not illegal to burn a bible either under US law or, so far as I know, under canonical law. In fact there are circumstances where burning a bible might be recommended, though more likely the suggestion for disposal would be burial…

Well that depends on the ‘why’ you are burning it. I believe burning and/or burial is the recommended way to dispose of blessed objects.No, just in bad taste

It depends on the conditions and where you happen to be standing when you burn it. (I am assuming that “illegal” here means “against the laws of the land.”) For most of the scenarios I have in mind that the book being burned is a bible is irrelevant to whether or not one is crossing into illegal territory. It could just as easily be a dictionary, news paper, or book of empty pages.Anyone?
