Is it immoral to play a sports video game with a college that does something immoral?

Is it? An example would be playing a football video game with Wisconsin, which studies embryonic stem cell research.

What about colleges affiliated with other Christian denominations, like Texas Christian University, which is affiliated with Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) to the best of my knowledge.

Oh, come on. We already told you that you could cheer for the actual Wisconsin team. If you keep following this train of thought, the next thing will be that you can’t even live in the state or think the name of the university silently in your mind. It’s really time for you to start thinking things through on your own a bit.

Are you serious?
Wow…
Um, guy, you need to lighten up and chill a bit…geeze…enjoy watching your sports games…you know, if you dig into the background of any institution, you are bound to find some stuff and nonsense there that you don’t like, that’s just the way of the world…look at our government hacks and all the special interest groups, for example…now*** there’s*** some **** that would disturb the most laid-back, liberal person…pfft…

Um…I went to your profile and read your past posts…I get you now…
You, sir, are a riot;0D

This has either got to be a joke thread or someone who just wants attention or validation.

I can say with good confidence that Coolcatholiguy is not making joke threads.

Things like these (and this specific thing, actually) are things that torment me and countless amounts of other scrupulous people. I believe that he is just searching for help as he suffers with the painful disease of Scrupulosity as I do.

I will suggest, like many others, that you speak with a priest and go from there.

I’ll pray for you.

.
There is “scrupulosity” and there is also “I-can’t-be-taken-seriously.” If waking up in the morning and worrying about things like this is causing you to ask truly nutty questions like this, perhaps you should look into psychological counseling instead of asking questions like this on the Internet.

My heart goes out to people with OCD, aniexty, etc, but you’d be taken more seriously if you kept some of these things to yourself.

Great answer…

Geez louise people use your God given common sense. Do you want to live in fear looking over your shoulder every 5 minutes or do you want to live a real life?

Dare to think for yourself.
